| my xanga entry habits have been called less than flaky lately, so i am going to try to write more often. so, here are some things that have been new and exciting.
i just completed my first full week of regular class back at sem. all my classes look like they are going to be pretty good. we need to find a time to play ultimate that fits everyone's schedules.
my good buddy lloyd from michigan called me this week and asked me to be the best man in his may 28 wedding. i was very honored to accept that. it's about time that he and kristina picked a date...
i confirmed my plans for this summer. i will be back at trinity crc for the entire summer. i'm excited to spend time with the fam and with my friends--especially seth and andrea and my new nephew that is due at the end of may!
on friday night dan and bussis and i took carrie's swiss students out for a night on the town. we had a great time and i found a great latin-american restaurant in old town. i had lamb for the first time, and it was great. in the very near future we are going to go salsa dancing with the girls and some others. i will for sures have pictures of all this...maybe movies, too. it depends on how the night goes!
this Lord's Day i am preaching at san diego crc on proverbs 7. i am pretty excited to be back in the pulpit. i haven't preached since the beginning of november!
that's about it. other than finding new ways to terrorize my roommate barker, things have been pretty calm. after sunday evening church bussis and i will play euchre with claus and our friend chris crouch. that should be fun.

| last friday night love was in the air. claus, bussis, and i went to carrie's house for a roberta's going away party. roberta is one of carrie's exchange students--the first one she's ever had from italy. claus baked some awesome fajita pizzas. after dinner we exchanged presents with roberta and everyone had the opportunity to say goodbye and recall a fond memory of our time with roberta. after that we played a few games and enjoyed each other's company. for a while the conversation was about weird talents that we each had, and we found out that claus could almost do the full splits. after some double-jointed shenanigans it was time to say goodby. if you've ever said goodby to an italian before you know that it is their culture to exchange three kisses on the cheek. after bussis and i said goodbye, it was claus' turn for some smoochin'. he wasn't very good at it at first. eventually, though, he did catch on. rather than describe it to you, it would be better for you to watch this movie of it (i love digital technology!)
